Vintage Floral Nails, Inspired by Bubzbeauty

This is my left hand, which I did with my dominant hand

Hello everyone!

This is my first post on this blog, all about creating easy and effective nail art :)

This nail art is going to be super, super easy vintage floral nails :)

I don't know about you, but i have NEVER been able to create floral nails, they have just looked like random splodges, but after searching pages and pages of impossible (but beautiful!) floral nail tutorials on YouTube, i came across Bubzbeautys one, and thinking i couldn't create it, i managed it, so thank you Bubzbeauty! Hers are some of my favourite nail tutorials on YouTube, mainly because they use no professional nail equipment. I followed her tutorial, but used different products, and switched it up a bit. So this is not my creation! Just my results of her amazing tutorial, which you can find here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gqW60wgH8vQ

So i hope this helps you, and you enjoy, and all nail varnish used is affordable, can be found inBoots or Superdrug (if you live in the UK), and of course you do no way need the same nail varnishes as me! These are pretty basic colours, which most people have in their collection.

What you need:

 How to:

Firstly, paint each nail white, except your ring finger, paint that mint green. This is optional, but adds a bit of variety.

Then create pastel pink spoldges. Roses are never a perfect circle, so make these messy! Use the brush to create a perfect splodge.Depending on how long your nails are, and how many roses you want on each nail, create that many splodges. I did two on most nails, 3 on a few, and 4 on my thumb. You could even layer them up to create an opaque bunch or roses on your nails!!

Next, grab a hot pink, and a toothpick, or cocktail stick. Pour some varnish on a piece of paper to easily transfer the varnish on the cocktail stick. Outline the pastel pink spodge, with squiggly lines. Don't go right around the nail, just parts. This is really hard to show in pictures, but i hope you get the jist of it...This is soo easy, and if you're thinking nah i give up, i promise you can do it!!

Inside the pastel pink splodge, add some more squiggly lines in the middle, to add some detail.

This is optional, but if you like, you can add some red detail in the middle.

There's your roses! Maybe they look a bit incomplete? The next step completes the whole design!

Add two random leaves on each side of the rose. Just like the rest of the design , these do not need to be neat at all!!

There you have it! Eye catching but simple floral nails! Perfect for summer and spring.

On my left hand, just like bubzbeauty did, i painted my nails a peach shade, and add white dots,  which i am awful at, and i find this the hardest part of the design!! This of course is optional, but breaks up the design a bit, and is so much easier to do on the left hand! Although, this design being just squiggly lines, this is so super duper easy to do with your undominant hand.

And here are some close ups :) Please let me know if you have tried these, or are planning to!
And thank you bubzbeauty for finally teaching me how to do these nails!!

Hope this was somehow helpful :)
